These issues are traditionally dealt with by modifying the core ERP application, developing separate applications using conventional development tools (Visual Basic, C, .NET etc) or allowing users to develop their own “convenience” applications using spreadsheets. Technical Details

 

Eden Technology is made up of the following:

 

1. The Services Engine

 

Used to add the ability to existing applications to participate as a service within a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA). The engine is Database independent and can connect to multiple external platforms and databases simultaneously. Web Services integration is a core component

 

2. The Process Generator

 

A drag and drop process design environment incorporating an advanced rules engine. The engine supports all kinds of business rules, arithmetic and algebraic rules, workflow processes and can include a genetic module for the creation of optimisation processes.

 

3. The task manager

 

The task manager allows processes involving steps undertaken within existing applications to be included within an overall business process. The task manager can call and exchange information with Web Services, Applications, DLLs, .NET DLLs, XML, documents and more…

 

4. The GUI generator

 

A drag and drop screen developer allowing process developers to create and modify Windows and or JAVA screens including applications for PDA’s and mobile phones.
